Shakoo Maku is a children's edutainment brand that provides fun, engaging and educational content in Arabic, specifically in the Iraqi dialect. Our aim is to teach children the Arabic language and culture through screen time, which has become an integral part of children's lives.
As parents, we struggled to find resources to teach our daughter Arabic in the Iraqi dialect. This lack of resources and the realization of the importance of teaching Arabic to our children sparked the idea for Shakoo Maku. What began as a passion and hobby project has now turned into a global brand, providing educational content to children all around the world.
Our mission is to make learning Arabic fun and accessible to all children, regardless of their background or where they are located in the world. We believe in the power of edutainment to make a positive impact on children's lives and hope to encourage children to embrace their cultural heritage through our content. Our vision is to become the go-to platform for Arabic edutainment and to inspire a new generation of young Arabic learners. We appreciate the trust parents place in us and are committed to producing quality content that parents can rely on.
Shakoo Maku was born out of our desire as parents to teach our daughter Arabic in the Iraqi dialect, but we found limited resources to do so. Frustrated with the lack of educational and engaging content available, we decided to create our own. We started with producing videos that could help our daughter learn Arabic, and soon realized that other parents faced the same problem. As we continued to produce more content, our platform began to grow, and Shakoo Maku was born.
Our inspiration came from a desire to make learning Arabic fun and engaging for children, and to create content that could be accessed from anywhere in the world. We wanted to make sure that our children were learning Arabic in a way that was not only effective, but also enjoyable.
As with any new venture, we faced several challenges along the way.
Our biggest challenge was creating content that was both educational and entertaining for children. It took a lot of hard work and dedication to find the right balance. However, our achievements have been very rewarding. Although we have been featured on major media outlets interviewing us to share our story, our biggest achievement is hearing from parents who tell us how much their children have improved their Arabic by consuming our content. Seeing videos of children happily singing and dancing along to our videos and playing our games is what motivates us to do even better.
We are proud to have made a positive impact on so many children and families around the world. We believe that learning a language should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone, and we are honoured to have played a small part in making that possible.
